Here are the punchlines from the past week:

Horatiu:

Status:
– experimented with different graphing libraries
– working through my review for issue 117
Next steps:
– choose a graphing library (Bluff seems to be the favouriteĀ http://blog.markusproject.org/?p=2061#comments) and start working on the dashboard
– finish up issue 117
Roadblocks:

Kurtis:

Status
– Experimented with graphing frameworks
– Write a blog post outlining best solutions
– Received feedback from community on framework choices
Next Steps
– Set up branch for Hora and Me to work with
– Integrate chosen framework into Markus
– Start generating graphs
Roadblocks

Vivien:
Status:
– Thought about potential remark request UI/features and discussed these ideas with Misa
– Drafted some paper prototypes
– Met with Diane for some initial feedback
Next Steps:
– Meet with Karen to show her our current ideas
– Start coding/implementing!
Roadblocks
– None

Misa:
Status:
– Study the current interface to see what types of situations there are/could be
– Play around with randomly created data for scenarios
– Sketched up 4 paper prototypes prior to meeting with Vivien
– Met with Vivien to discuss paper prototype
– Got feedback from Diane Horton regarding the prototypes and functionality
Plan:
– Meet up with Karen possibly Friday afternoon to discuss findings
– Get at least one more professor’s feedback
– Start coding!
Roadblocks:
– none

Evan:
Status:
– Worked on image annotation re-use
– Got the test framework running on my computer
– Workend on fixing some issues with the test framework (and discovered more issues)

Next Steps:
– Keep polishing the testing framework
– Hopefully meet up with Victor to work sometime this week

Roadblocks:
– I made some changes to the Test Framework review but I cannot seem to be able to update the review request for it

Victor:
Status:
– Almost same as last week. Had many deadlines this week, so I could only read about RoR and git during my free time.
Next Steps:
– Investigate existing test framework structure.
– Meet with Evan to discuss project and split responsibilities.
– Start coding!!
Roadblocks:
– Didn’t have time to work on the project this week due to deadlines in other courses.

Jiahui:
Status:
– Still experiencing with Test Framework
– Contacted Evan and he said there might be an error on the server side of the Test Framework, and he would check
Next Steps:
– Start reading the code for the test framework, and foundĀ out where the error is
